Our heart-centered classes include yoga (gentle yoga, restorative yoga nidra, chair yoga, strengthen & ground yoga, balance & flexibility yoga), Pilates, Qi Gong, and breath / meditation. Each offering is designed to support nervous system regulation, and a return to well-being. Build strength, flexibility, find calm, and reconnect with yourself in our warm & welcoming space in Chagrin Falls/Bainbridge, Ohio, where movement and breath come together to restore and renew. Class Descriptions

  • Using the support and stability of a chair, this class is perfect for those who prefer not to get up and down from the floor or have limited mobility. You’ll receive all the benefits of a regular yoga class. You’ll begin with a grounding meditation and  breathing techniques to help destress and center, then warming up with gentle movement, mindful stretching with options that work for you, core strengthening, then moving to standing postures and finishing with a seated guided meditation to leave feeling renewed and empowered. Just know: balance, strength, flexibility, and mobility improve with practice at ANY age. Your body will thank you! 

  • This gentle slow-paced class is for anyone looking for a meditative, peaceful practice to calm the nervous system. A soothing blend of slow moving postures, focused on alignment, strength, flexibility, and breath conclude with deep rest inviting a sense of peacefulness and calm. Don’t mistake ‘gentle’ for ‘weak’. Through increased awareness, this class offers full body integration. Options are offered to make the practice your own. Participants are encouraged to stay connected to their own inner guidance system. Expect to feel refreshed physically, mentally and spiritually. This class is perfect for beginners or those who prefer to stay with a gentle, meditative practice. 

  • Mat Pilates, ideal for beginning to advanced students, incorporates all the key principles of Pilates: postural alignment, breathing, strength, controlled movement and flexibility. With focus on your unique body, listening to its messages, and trusting what you hear to gain confidence in how best to move. Specific cueing guides you to feel the perfect balance of challenge while deepening your mind-body connection through breath and ease of movement. 

  • Discover the ancient art of QiGong, a gentle practice that harmonizes breath, movement, and intention to cultivate your body’s natural energy. This class combines flowing movements, specific breath practices, and focused awareness to balance energy, calm the mind, and boost vitality. Perfect for all levels, QiGong offers a peaceful yet powerful way to enhance your well-being and leave you feeling revitalized. Experience the life-enhancing benefits of working with your Qi.

  • Restorative Yoga Nidra
    Practiced from the floor using blocks, blankets, and bolsters, you'll practice supported postures to lay the foundation for comfort to settle in for a silky smooth guided Yoga Nidra meditation.  Float into a state of peace, and calm. Yoga Nidra translates as “yogic sleep" - a state of deep relaxation. In a world where stillness and rest are undervalued, this can be a time to heal whatever needs healing by rebalancing the nervous system and offering support to the immune system. You will feel restored!

  • Centering, intention, warming up the body, Yoga posture with longer holds,move thru sun salutations, functional movement, finishing with a deep rest. a balanced practice for a strong, flexible body and grounded presence that helps you move through your day feeling calm, confident, and capable.

  • uses light weights, 1#, 2#, or 3# dumbbells. 

    The first thirty minutes of this class is a high volume (reps), low resistance (weight) workout with short rest intervals and is geared primarily at improving muscle tone and definition, while improving cardiovascular fitness followed by thirty minutes of relaxing the body feeling healthier, stronger, and more focused - slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching with props that allow your muscles to relax deeply. A great addition to your regular routine. Finish with a deep relaxation and grounding to leave you feeling strong and refreshed. Ready to take on the day! 

    Please bring 2 or 3 lbs weights, stretch band and yoga mat. We also can provide all the equipment. Wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle.

  • Improve focus, increase flexibility & balance, strengthen core, and reduce risk of injury all in the name of improving in the game of Life, but ultimately discovering the practice translates into benefits for quality of life. Jon Manke will share his practice with you, He welcomes the reluctant and “inflexible yoga novice”. If you think you can't "do" yoga, this class is for you.
